As some of you may know Lake Orta has some beaches where you can spend some relaxed and fun time with your families and friends. There are a couple of Beach Clubs that could be ideal for day before and day after events but even for a wonderful wedding reception. As most of you know an earthquake of magnitude 6 on the Richter scale struck Central Italy back in August 2016. Many little villages on Apennines Mountains have been damaged and destroyed. After this terrible event other two earthquakes struck the same little villages and some other alittle Norther of them in late October 2016. They inflicting more damage on these villages and some others located between Lazio and Umbria regions.

Our Italian Lakes Wedding team usually tells you about weddings planned on Italian Lake District but today we want to talk you about a very intimate and romantic wedding we had the pleasure to organise in Cinque Terre on Italian Riviera. Our lovely couple decided to have the sea and the amazing view of Monterosso village as scenario for their romantic elope. Getting married in Le Cinque Terre in Italian Riviera means choosing for your Big Day one of the most beautiful and undiscovered spots in Italy.

August is really the hotter month of summer. Temperature are very high in Italy and most of Italian people prefer to go to the seaside also to celebrate famous Italian Ferragosto. Central week of August is really off for almost all in Italy. However not everybody was at the seaside

Philippa and Liam are a young and sweet couple! They tied the knot on the end of May on Lake Como with a romantic civil ceremony at Villa del Balbianello. For their wedding reception they opted for a dinner under a marquee and a party at a Beach Club on the shores of Lake Como.
Weather was not good and sunny as bride and groom wished but their hearts were full of joy and happiness that they were able to not get annoyed about it and fully enjoy their special wedding day! A saying in Italy says: Sposa Bagnata Sposa Fortunata, that means Wet Bride, Lucky Bride. I think that at the end Philippa was a lucky one anyway. She had a fantastic wedding in spite of the weather.
