We know that gay weddings in Italy do not have civil validity (yet!!) but symbolic ceremonies can be planned everywhere in Italy and we are proud and pleased to serve all couples!
Our services are completely gay-friendly.
We also have a same-sex and LGBT weddings dedicated web site that you can visit following this link: www.italiangayweddings.com Jessica and Marisa are two wonderful ladies! They come from South Africa and they fell in love with Italy thanks to a business trip.
They decided that Italy must be the place so they decided to plan their romantic wedding here, by the shores of romantic Lake Orta.
So they got legally married in London UK and plan their romantic same sex symbolic ceremony here in Italy, on Lake Orta.
We totally approved the choice and we are happy to share here their fantastic wedding photos. Thanks to both to share them with us, and thanks also to talented Cristiano Ostinelli for these great shots.
For Italian Lakes Wedding Team we were present with Hotel San Rocco – wedding reception, La Piccola Selva Floral Designer – floral decorations, Riccardo – celebrant, and Ariel Jazz – wedding music.
A same-sex symbolic ceremony by the shores of Lake Orta
Both Marisa and Jessica got ready to Hotel San Rocco.
They chose to to plan everything in the same wedding venue, Hotel San Rocco itself.
Hotel staff was a great help to them and they were very pleased about their choice.
Both ladies decided to wear white dresses and they were both stunning in them!
For their wedding ceremony they chose the little garden of Villa Gippini, which is part of Hotel San Rocco itself.
La Piccola Selva floral designer prepared for Jessica and Marisa a wonderful floral arch made of yellow roses and white daisies to create a simple yet elegant atmosphere by the shores. The wedding arch was placed just by the railing on the lake so that ceremony could be performed overlooking St. Julius Island. What a romantic atmosphere!
Our celebrant Riccardo performed a sweet tailored ceremony that everybody loved and Ariel Classica musicians played a romantic music as background.
Bridal bouquets were made of roses and gypsophila and they were both personally composed by the mother of one of the lady. Such a sweet gift! Don’t you think so?
Right after the ceremony Marisa and Jessica decided to cut their wonderful tired wedding cake. They cut it in the gardens of Villa Gippini with the lake as background.
A boat tour on Lake Orta to celebrate a great wedding day!
Marisa and Jessica decided to leave their guests for a while enjoying their aperitif on the terrace of Hotel San Rocco, listening to lovely music of Ariel Jazz.
They took the occasion to reach St. Julius Island with their bridesmaids for fantastic wedding photos. Boat trip could not miss and the four ladies had a great fun together.
Marisa and Jessica deep love and happiness is really contagious!
Just take a look to fantastic shots by Cristiano Ostinelli, simply amazing!
Wedding reception at Hotel San Rocco overlooking Lake Orta
Once back from their boat tour and wedding photo session on St. Julius Island Maris and Jessica meet their happy families and friends again to celebrate their big day with a wonderful Italian meal.
Italian food, fun and moving wedding speeches, Italian wine, a moving first dance and lot of fun to follow.
Lots of candles and romantic flowers for a chic same-sex wedding on Lake Orta.
Thanks Marisa and Jessica for choosing Lake Orta for your special day.
We hope that Lake Orta will stay forever in your hearts, your wedding will stay in ours.
