After all, if there is one thing that cannot be missing on such a special day, it is just fun, as the photos taken by Manisol Wedding tell well. So here is the story of this fantastic festive wedding on the shores of Lake Iseo.
A romantic and funny pre-wedding party
That cheerfulness would be a feature of their wedding was already clear from the romantic and funny pre-wedding party. The celebration started the day before the wedding. At the hotel, the bride and groom chose a beautiful view of Montisola, the main island of Lake Iseo, the largest lake island in southern Europe.
A cocktail party in the garden accompanied by the guitars of two Brazilian musicians welcomed and entertained the guests.
Romantic spherical chandeliers illuminated the evening and made the atmosphere magical and intimate. The arrival of a traditional ice cream cart brought a breath of cheer to the end of the evening. The perfect beginning for a festive wedding on the shores of Lake Iseo.
Lake Iseo: a perfect location for a dream destination wedding
The bride’s catching smile and the groom’s excitement illuminated the ceremony preparations. Wearing an exquisite wedding gown highlighting her silhouette, Quinta arrived behind Eric, who was waiting for her, and together they boarded a Riva speedboat, a jewel of Italian boating produced right on Lake Iseo.
Toasts began already on board as they sped over the lake’s waters. Once they arrived at the island, Quinta and Eric – following the directions of our wedding planner Veronica and with the collaboration of the bridesmaids and the groomsmen – walked through narrow alleys and deserted streets to sneak up to the venue without being seen by the guests who were already there. Here they could enjoy a few moments of rest before the ceremony began and get ready for a festive wedding on the shores of Lake Iseo.
“Yes, I do,” with a beautiful view of Lake Iseo
Once the moment arrived, Quinta entered, accompanied by her father and heralded by two beautiful young flower girls. The newlyweds said their “Yes, I do” on a terrace with a beautiful view of Lake Iseo in front of an exquisite floral arch in shades of white and pink. The wind blowing with intensity did not stop the bride and groom and their relatives and friends from enjoying every moment of this unforgettable moment, between a few tears of emotion and merry laughter until the kiss that sanctioned their finally becoming husband and wife.
You can appreciate the magical atmosphere of a festive wedding on the shores of Lake Iseo
After photos, ritual greetings, and a refined cocktail on the terrace, the bride and groom and guests took their places at the two long white tables set up for them in the olive grove. Finding their seats was easy thanks to a unique tableau that indicated the places at the tables with a bottle of Limoncello, typical Italian spirit. Each carried a card with the guest’s name, a beautiful keepsake to take home as a memory of the day.
Framing the dinner were olive trees, while thanks to simple wooden structures, we topped the tables with olive branches and drooping flowers that decorated and accompanied the wedding dinner—adding to the romance of the setting were the glass bulbs hanging above the tables, which came to life as soon as the sun set and the evening began to peep in.
The harbor lights reflecting off the lake waters accompanied this memorable festive wedding with their delicate and silent dance—the magical atmosphere of a festive Italian wedding on the shores of Lake Iseo.
Partying all night long in an ancient palace on Lake Iseo
Once the dinner was over, with accompanying speeches, the watchword was one: have fun.
The party moved inside the venue on Lake Iseo, where the open bar was ready to serve cocktails and digestives, and the DJ had already started to get the dishes going. The bride and groom decided on no cake cutting, replacing it with an original arrangement of cupcakes, white, freely available to guests on the dessert table.
The music got everyone involved, and everyone – from the youngest to the white-haired – drank, sang, and danced, partying all night in this fantastic ancient palace on Lake Iseo.
After crazy, fun dances and the inevitable bouquet toss, it was time for the guests to return, taking with them the memory of a memorable festive wedding on Lake Iseo.
