This wedding destination with its rich heritage of ancient traditions. It is where Siobhan and Michael said “I do”.
Bride and groom, their families and friends all flew from Northern Ireland to Lake Garda to share the emotion of a fantastic wedding day by the lake.
We loved being beside bride and groom and help them to fulfill their dream of an unforgettable Italian wedding.
Malcesine Castle, a terrace with a view for the ceremony overlooking Lake Garda
Bridal bouquet was a blend of white and blush pink roses with lavender. Its stalk was wrapped in elegant lace which gave it a romantic touch in perfect harmony with the atmosphere of the castle.
Bride reached wedding ceremony on board of a nice white Tuk Tuk which can easily travel down the narrow paved roads of the historic centre of the village.
View was spectacular, especially in late afternoon as sun begins to set down on West side of Lake Garda and light all around gets soft and warm. Just wonderful!
Sound of a harp accompanied the whole wedding ceremony, concluding this most emotional moment with the melody of the famous song “All of me”.
After the wedding ceremony, while relatives and friends were offered a drink in a local bar, Siobhan and Michael took on a tour around Lake Garda so that they could have a great photo shoot. Some breathtaking corners of the castle provided an unforgettable setup!
A historic garden with on Lake Garda for a wonderful wedding reception
For their wedding reception Siobhan and Michael chose a Michelin starred restaurant in the heart of the medieval hamlet. A pleasant walk down the paved narrow roads led everyone to this refined intimate place surrounded by ancient stony walls.
Welcome aperitif was held in the garden among olive trees which had been decorated with tiny lanterns hanging from the boughs. The atmosphere was just magic!
Terrace adjoining the garden has a glorious venue over the lake and here is where the dinner party took place. Vases full of white gypsophila decorated tables where guests could enjoy a modern version of typical local dishes proposed by the chef.
Live music of a band welcomed newlyweds and went on playing for entire time of the wedding party up to the cutting of the wedding cake.
We all thank the bride and groom for letting us share with them this special wedding. A special thanks also goes to Independent Pictures photographers and The Lovely Day video maker who did a great job and gave us these gorgeous photos.
We are sure Siobhan and Michael will keep forever in their hearts the wonderful memory of their wedding day on Lake Garda!
