Another dream at Balbianello

2011 wedding season has been a great success for Villa del Balbianello!
We planned several stunning events, especially during the month of September.
Today I’m pleased to introduce another lovely couple who chose Villa del Balbianello for their wedding: Corri & Joel who fell in love with Lake Como at first sight!

Corri is Irish and Joel is English. They used their different nation for a lovely idea: using their two countries as symbols on their wedding invitations, bound to their respective initials C&J.
We had cloudy weather for their wedding but the and the result on the pictures was simply dramatic!

The boats reached Villa del Balbianello sliding on the Lake under a thin rain and the ceremony has been performed under the covered Loggia terrace.

Corri and Joel have been really blessed as the weather turned quickly letting them enjoy the opportunity to take many lovely pictures with Photographer Morlotti.

As for their reception venue for the dinner and party, Corri and Joel chose a luxurious hotel in Tremezzo, reachable directly by boat from Villa del Balbianello.

Welcome cocktail was served outdoor on the terrace with lake view giving the opportunity to all to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Corri and Joel spent a little time with all of the guests who travelled from all over the world to be with them on this special day
But the cocktail was only the first part of the evening!

After this special moment all guests have been invited to take their seats following the indication of the stylish seating plan printed on mirror and highlighted by candles from the back side.
A delicious meal has been served inside a decorated private and intimate room with impressive view of Lake Como.

At the moment of the speeches all guests had lot of fun, many toasts and then the wonderful cake!
Around Midnight everybody moved to the wine bar and disco which was entirely and privately reserved for Corri and Joel group to continue the party and dance until late. All guests had also the opportunity to taste the wide range of Italian and foreign wines or fine cocktails professionally prepared by the Hotel staff.
