A lucky wedding at Odescalchi Stables

Rain on her wedding day brings a bride good luck!
Well… actually it wasn’t proper rain, it was kind of overcast, but weren’t Jane and John lucky in the same way? If it wasn’t for the spectacular organization one could feel totally lucky just for celebrate the wedding at the small church Chiesetta Del Riposo.

his XVI Century chapel endured a long restoration period that brought back all its renaissance beauties, the interior and the frescoes representing religious themes. But nobody wants to fool anyone, Italy is a very renaissance country, and you can plainly find tons of chapel, churches and cathedral with the same architecture, apparently randomly, sprinkled all over the territory. But honestly, how many of them can boast a heart stirring overlook over a lake like Bracciano? Very few and this Chiesetta Del Riposo is part of this elite. That makes this chapel an ideal wedding venue, Jane and John choose it to represent their fulfilling of a love dream.

he reception was held in another wonderful venue: the Odescalchi Stables, Scuderie Odescalchi. Despite nullified by the cloudy day, the exploit of the astonishing wonderful exteriors has been replaced by a polished and gleaming inside party.
Fittings and trimmings were thorough and stylish; branched candlesticks and white furniture and fabrics gave a pale gothic twist that splendidly jarred with this XIX century building. Flower nosegays decorated both the candlestick and the newlyweds table and the gigantic chocolate cake almost stole the scene, drawing all the attention.

Jane and John hired wedding photojournalist Alessandro Zingone to absolutely keep the memory of this most magnificent and happiest day of their life, with jokes, irony and joy.
