Deepa and Andrew’s wedding on Lake Orta
We start with the very first day of the month! On September 1st Deepa and Andrew got married on Lake Orta. Valentina followed the event for us. We’ve already mentioned this lovely couple on our blog. The day before they planned a lovely night boat trip on the Lake to see Firework show for St Vito Festival in Omegna, always planned in the area for last Sunday of August! Deepa is a wonderful Indian-English girl and she wanted for her wedding little touches of her traditions. You can see them in wedding dress she wore and many other little details on the table at the reception.
Bouquet and floral decorations in the shades of red were created by La Piccola Selva Floral Designer.
For their first dance they choose an Indian dance! Wow! It was like being in a Bollywood movie!
Deepa and Andrew got married at Villa Bossi and after a lovely aperitif in the village and a trip on the Island they celebrated the day at Ustaria Ca dal Rat Restaurant. A wonderful and intimate party everybody loved.

Gemma and Peter’s wedding in Malcesine, Lake Garda
On September 5th Angela and Katiuscia followed a lovely event on Lake Garda.
Peter and Gemma came from Jersey Island to get married in Malcesine.
Civil ceremony was planned in Malcesine castle in the morning… stunning view with stunning light!
Gemma wanted a coral themed wedding matching bridesmaids dresses.
Peter and Gmma planned a lunch in a local restaurant on the shores, just few steps from the castle. What about the rest of the day? A wonderful boat tour wit all guests!
Boat traveled along Northern coast. Every body enjoyed a stunning mountain view sipping delicious local Prosecco on board.
Boat lead them to a music bar on the lake where the group danced up to late a night!

Lizzy and Matt’s wedding on Lake Orta
We get back to Lake Orta on 6th September for another wedding Valentina followed: Lizzy and Matt’s.
A wonderful happy and joyful couple coming from UK.
Lizzy and Matt wanted a religious ceremony in the church of Maria Assunta just in the heart of Orta village.
After a moving ceremony and an Italian style exit from the church with rice throwing, bride and groom and their guests had a lovely Prosecco toast in the main square of the village.
Lizzy and Matt reached St. Julius Island for some fun photos while guest were waiting for them to Ustaria Ca dal Rat for their reception.
A romantic atmosphere for a wonderful party: yellow, and orange country style flowers, candles and lot of music for and fun for all.

Kornelia e Michael’s wedding on Lake Orta
On September 6th we stay on Lake Orta. This time we are here with La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team. They followed Kornelia and Michael’s wedding.
They are a lovely couple coming from Germany who chose Villa Bossi for their civil ceremony and Hotel Giardinetto for their reception.
The day was really joyful and surprising. Groomsmen arrived to Villa Bossi all in light blue suits and white shoes and bow ties. Groom and all other guests were really surprised! Have a look to Enrico Mocci photographer pictures, aren’t they full of joy and happiness?
Cristina and Ivan’s wedding in Taranto, Apulia
On September 9th our team was involved in two weddings.
Michela and Michela – our planners for Apulia – followed Cristina and Ivan’s wedding.
Ivan comes from Puglia while Cristina comes from Piemonte region in Northern Italy, they both live in Ireland.
Guests reached them from all over Italy and Ireland. What a great blend of customs and cultures.
Cristina and Ivan got married with a civil ceremony in the town hall of Taranto, a wonderful and very ancient city in the on Ionic sea.
After the ceremony, bride and groom and their guests reached a wonderful beach venue for their informal reception.
Cristina and Ivan wanted a laid down event on the beach creating a real relaxed party!
Theme colours were blue and red, deep shades for a happy event.
Cristina wore a short dress in tulle with casual shoes and coloured shoelaces. So fun!
Food was served as buffet with fish and meat bbq.
After a delicious berries mille feuille and sweets buffet everybody bare foot danced on the beach.
And to close the evening coloured floating lanterns on the sea under a magic moon!

Maureen and Brod’s wedding on Lake Orta
Our second wedding on 9th September was planned by Lake Orta on 6th September for another wedding Valentina on Lake Orta.
This a very intimate event: an elope for only bride and groom.
Maureen and Brod came from Australia to get married on Lake Orta shores.
A romantic civil ceremony at Villa Bossi and then some shots in the village and on St. Julius Island.
A celebratory meal in the hotel and romantic moments for both them and us.
A very special couple Valentina will never forget.
Maureen wore a wonderful dusty pink dress matching a round shaped bouquet made of white, pink and fuchsia roses and lysianthus created by La Piccola Selva Floral Designer.

Rimma and Yasin’s wedding on Lake Orta
On September 10th we get back to Lake Orta with an event followed by La Piccola Selva Floral Designers: Rimma and Yasin’s wedding.
Rimma coming from Russia and Yasin coming from Turkey chose Villa Bossi for their civil ceremony.

Mauve and JP’s wedding in Rome
On 12th September other two weddings for our Team. Stefania followed Mauve and JP’s wedding in Rome.
A wonderful happy couple coming from Ireland who chose Roman Seaside for their special day.
For their Catholic ceremony they opted for pretty church in Santa Marinella. Church is located just close by the Castle of Santa Marinella where reception was planned afterwards.
Mauve was simply stunning in her silk dress, simple but elegant with sparkling details on the back.
Aperitif was planned on the terrace overlooking Thirrenyan sea and seated meal was arranged in Castle court with many candles and fairy lights.
Mauve and JP wanted a garden style event in pastel shades of pink and green.
Whole group of more than 140 guests had a lot of fun: they all danced up to 2am!

Sabrina and Sean’s wedding on Lake Orta
Second wedding of the day was followed by Valentina on Lake Orta: Sabrina and Sean’s.
An incredibly fun and crazy day in Orta!
Sabrina is amazingly happy and joyful! She enjoyed every single moment of the day and same did her guests.
Sabrina and Sean come from San Francisco but Sabrina has Italian heritage, she speaks fluently Italian. Most of the guests arrived from US and Piemonte region.
Civil ceremony was planned at Villa Bossi. For the occasion Sabrina wanted all guests seated on wonderful white chairs.
Orange themed flowers did the rest: orange color matched perfectly Sabrina’s smiling and happy attitude!
After the ceremony a toast in the square and some Italian gelato, guests reached Ustaria Ca dal Rat for the reception.
Sabrina and Sean reached them after some photos on St. Julius Island.
As per her Italian heritage Sabrina wanted to arrive to the reception venue on the notes of Funiculi Funicula song: a must for an Italian wedding.
Dinner was delicious as usual at Ustaria Ca dal Rat but two other events made the evening magic: a cake show – pastry chef created a stunning cake at the moment for all guests – and a great band playing all night to make the party really crazy!

Angela and Marco’s wedding on Lake Orta
Lake Orta was the same scenery for a wedding the day after: 13th of Septmber. Angela and Marco were followed by La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team for their wedding.
A wonderful Italian couple who chose Church of Maria Assunta in the heart of Orta villa for their Catholic ceremony.
After the service they reached with all guests Villa Crespi, the famous Moorish style villa. Its minaret is a special part of Lake Orta panorama.

Nicole and Mike’s wedding on Lake Como
On 15th September we move to Lake Como – Lake Como never misses on our pages!
Alessandra and her Staff followed the event for us. Nicole and Mike opted for a very intimate wedding for only 16 people.
They chose Villa del Balbianello for their civil union.
Ceremony area was decorated with an amazing white floral arch. Bride and groom were incredibly moved and happy.
After the ceremony the full party moved to wonderful Villa d’Este for the reception.
A sax player welcomed the group who enjoyed a delicious aperitif.
Pastel colours for the reception with floral arrangements in the shades of pink, peach and apricot matching Nicole’s bouquet. Very chic!
During the meal a band entertained the group and their music made them dance up to late at night.
Cutting of the cake by the shores could not miss with a little touch of Italy: sugared almonds tasting for all. Just delicious.

Amy and Rob’s wedding on Lake Orta
On 16th September Valentina followed another intimate event on Lake Orta. Amy and Rob tied the knot in Santa Maria Assunta church in the heart of the village.
After the ceremony the group reached Villa Gippini – Hotel San Rocco for a delicious aperitif overlooking St. Julius Island.
Bride and groom reached the Island for wonderful pictures and then Ustaria Ca dal Rat for a delicious meal.
Amy wanted dusty pink and white shades for her floral decorations inside the church, for her bouquet and for intimate reception, wonderful creations by La Piccola Selva Floral Designer.
She wore a wonderful satin dress with pearls and sparkling details on shoulders and in her hair. She looked like a princess!

Daisy and Ciaran’s wedding on Lake Orta
On 20th September Valentina followed another event on Lake Orta: Daisy and Ciaran’s. They opted for a civil ceremony at Villa Bossi. A very simple ceremony blessed by a wonderful and warm September sun.
After some wedding photos in Orta main square the full group reached Hotel San Rocco for a magic outdoor reception overlooking the lake and its island.
A mille feuille cake to close the celebratory meal and then a dj played for the group until midnight.
Party kept on going at the bar of the hotel up to later.

Lucy and Rhys’s wedding on Lake Orta
On 26th September Valentina is back to Orta for another magic wedding: Lucy and Rhys’s.
Lucy and Rhys are a wonderful couple coming from Uk. They in Switzerland, Lake Orta is so close for them!!
They opted for a civil ceremony at Villa Bossi, too with a fun aperitif to follow on St. Julius Island.
This way all guests had the chance to see how beautiful the Island is. Some romantic wedding photos for bride and groom and then a romantic reception at Ustaria Ca dal Rat.

For the occasion Ustaria Ca dal Rat was decorated with long white table clothes, lanterns, candelabras and orange flowers created by La Piccola Selva Floral Designer.
Wedding theme was planned in the shades of grey and orange. Lovely bottles of Arancello liquor (Italian Liquor made of oranges) as favors for guests, table chart made with real oranges, bellini cocktail for the aperitif, a fun wedding cheesecake with oranges juice on top, and wonderful orange flowers for the tables.
Party was great with wonderful music and romantic floating lanterns released on the lake.
Widad and Andrew’s wedding in Monferrato, Piemonte Countryside
On the day after Valentina followed another lovely event. This time she reached Piemonte Countryside in Monferrato for a very special day.
Widad and Andrew tied the knot in a wonderful Medieval Castle over Piemonte hills of Unesco World Heritage.
Widad is Libyan and Andrew is English with Italian heritage, they both live in Dubai and they choose Piemonte for its magic appeal and atmosphere.
Civil ceremony was planned inside the ancient armoury of the medieval castle. It was incredibly moving.
For the aperitif the group reached the upper terrace of the castle. Amazing Piemonte style food and wines were served while Widad and Andrew had the chance to take some amazing photos on top of the Medieval tower.
Dinner was served on the lower terrace, outdoor under the stars.
Fairy lights and candles did the rest to create a magic scenery.
A pastry chef created the cake at the moment for the guests and after the cutting Widad and Andrew and their guests danced up to late at night and had a great night.
Widad was simply stunning in her sparking and original wedding dress. For her wedding floral decorations she choose country flowers with a little tropical twist, perfectly matching Monferrato panorama . A wonderful event over Piemonte vines hills.

Ludovica and Stefano’s wedding in Rome
Our Planner Stefania followed the last wedding of September, on 28th. Ludovica and Stefano got married in amazing Rome!
Ludovica is a wonderful Italian ballerina and for the day she wore a wonderful elegant dress. She was simply wonderful!
She arrived on board of a beautiful Maserati car on foot of Campidoglio steps. She climbed the steps to reach amazing church of St Maria of Aracoeli in the beating heart of eternal city.
A real Roman wedding!
For the reception Ludovica and Stefano chose a beautiful villa with magic view over Rome.
Aperitif was served in the garden outdoor and dinner inside the Winter Garden.
A special mention to decorations: falling roses and many details in white and acid green colours. Ludovica also wanted feathers and Swarovsky to enhance Angels theme she had in mind for her special day!

What a month!
The best way to almost close a Wedding season. September is a wonderful month for a wedding in Italy, just have a look to amazing photos of our just married couples.
We will come to tell you a little more about very last weddings in October. We will will be also pleased to thank all our bride and grooms and professionals who worked with and for us over the season. Then, we will wait for next Season to see some more Just Married posts.
