The full Team was busy with many events in this warm June of 2014 and many other are still to come in the following months so stay tuned!
We will tell you here about all events our Italian Wedding Company Team planned, some will be featured on Italian Lakes Wedding pages and you will see some others on our partner web sites (Italian Country Wedding, Italian Rome Wedding, Italian Seaside Wedding). Do not miss them!
We start with an Italian wedding followed by La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team: Valeria and Andrea’s wedding on Lake Orta on June 6th. They choose lovely church of Sacro Monte of Orta for their Catholic ceremony and an elegant reception at Villa Crespi to follow. For their floral arrangement they choose roses as only flower. Fine ivory Avalanches roses for bridal bouquet and all other arrangements to the church and reception venue.
Enrico Mocci was the photographer chosen by Valeria and Andrea.
June 7th was a very busy day for all our Team!
Michela and Michela for Apulia region followed Stephanie and Vincent’s wedding. A wonderful Filippines couple coming from London.
They choose a lovely Apulia Masseria in Monopoli village close to Bari for their special day. An elegant vintage themed wedding with an outdoor ceremony arranged with hanging laces and flowers all in pastel shades. For the reception to follow Michela and Michela studied with the bride vintage details (chairs, tin boxes, flowers, post cards and poet’s aphorisms) to embellish a wonderful reception arranged with long tables for an outdoor dinner.
Let’s not forget the fun photo booth and limoncello favours for all guests.
Party ended with fun dances and fireworks. A very special atmosphere for an Apulian wedding!

Angela and Katiuscia for Lake Garda followed two events.
The first one was Elisa and Thomas’ wedding. A lovely German couple who choose a Catholic ceremony in Bardolino with a country coral themed reception over the hills overlooking Lake Garda.

The second one was Martina and Jason’s wedding. They both came from Zurich to celebrate their special day with their family and friends.
They choose a lovely Villa in the countryside close to Venice. Martina was just beautiful and romantic pink peonies and white roses did the rest.

La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team had two weddings too.
The first was Elga and Giancarlo’s wedding. They came back to Church of Sacro Monte of Orta for a lovely Catholic ceremony. Elga chose ivory roses and lovely light blue hydrangeas for her floral decorations. Reception was held to Villa Decio overlooking Lake Orta.

The second was was Noelia and Thomas’ wedding in Stresa, Lake Maggiore.
Noelia is English with Portuguese heritage and for her wedding she choose “the world” as main theme with deep blue as main color.

A sweet couple coming from US.
They choose pink and white for their decorations, a romantic theme indeed.
They opted for a blessing at Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como with reception to follow in a luxury hotel close by.
A wonderful intimate but very fine event with a stunning flower cascade falling down from the chandelier in the reception room. Amazing!

Matthias is Belgian and Beatriz is Briasilian. A wonderful couple in love!
They choose again Villa del Balbianello for their ceremony and a private villa in Bellagio on Lake Como for their reception.
Beatriz loves flowers and she dedicated to them a lot of attention in her planning.
Peonies were the main character, her favourites!
Two big Florence style vases were placed side of the alter of the ceremony while at the reception Beatriz wanted centrepieces of different sizes with smaller vases with peonies.
A lovely aperitif with a sax player and a fun party to follow with a great dj!

We are moving South following Stefania our planner for Rome and surroundings.
On June 13th she followed Teppo and Tina’s wedding. A wonderful intimate ceremony in the beating heart of Rome.
Teppo and Tina came to Rome with their kids to celebrate a special day in a relaxed and laid down mood. They held their civil ceremony at Rome Capitolium. Amazing venue just side of Coliseum and Roman Forums!
For 14th of June we get back to Northern Lakes.
La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team followed Sandra and Enrico’s wedding.
They planned a lovely outdoor ceremony in the gardens of Villa Volpi in Ghiffa with magic view over Lake Maggiore. Reception to follow was planned inside the lovely rooms of the venue.
Country Chic floral arrangements matched Villa Volpi style perfectly.

Our planner Valentina followed Lucia and Vincenzo’s wedding on the same day on Lake Orta.
Lucia and Vincenzo are a lovely couple coming from Souther Italy but living in Switzerland.
Lucia kindness and smile was the main attraction of the day! She planned a happy blue and orange themed wedding with an intimate civil ceremony at Villa Bossi with a friendly reception to follow at Ustaria Ca dal Rat with lot of orange grerberas, blue ribbons, petals and kind details for her guests!

On June 16th we get back to Rome with Stefania, in the very heart of Christianity with a wonderful catholic ceremony at St Peter’s Abbey! Linda and Robert got married here in the very centre of Rome with all their families and friends. For their reception they choose a stunning villa overlooking a breathtaking view over eternal city.
Crystal and vintage orange was the the main theme for an elegant wedding overlooking Rome.

On 17th June our planner for Umbria and Tuscany Elia and his staff followed Michelle and Dale’s wedding. A lovely “all in town” wedding for a sweet couple. They choose Cortona village for their Italian wedding.
Elia planned for them a civil ceremony at Cortona town hall with a reception to follow under the porticos of a famous restaurant in town just in front of the town hall.
A simple but wonderful day for an intimate wedding and romantic candle lit dinner with close family and friends.

On the same day Valentina followed another intimate wedding: Carly and Neil’s.
They were just in four: bride and groom and their witnesses.
An outdoor ceremony at Villa Bossi with a lovely boat tour to follow. Boat tour was a real fun with music and the cutting of a very special wedding cake for the four of them!
Some pictures on St Julius island and then a gourmand dinner in 2 Michelin starred restaurant of Villa Crespi. A romantic, sunny and happy day for two young couples of friends!

Cliff is American and Riyani is Indonesian, they both live in Hong Kong.
They choose a sweet intimate event for their special day with a ceremony at Villa del Balbianello and reception in a hotel not far from there.
Ryiany wanted a total white themed wedding and in spite of a grey weather they really enjoyed a wonderful day on Lake Como.

On June 20th back to Apulia region with Michela and Michela for a lovely Italian wedding.
Angela and Rocco come from Apulia but they live in Milan.
They choose a Catholic ceremony in a lovely little church in Noci town close to Brindisi.
For their reception they opted for a wonderful Masseria close to Fasano to host a big group of 150 guests.
Angela chose turquoise, coral and white as her colours because she wanted a real marine themed wedding.
All wedding stationary and details had a marine theme: table names from famous islands of the world, fans for ladies, invitations..all made with wheels and sea stars.
For the party a great band and LED balloons in the sky!
This wedding is featured on Italian Seaside Wedding.
On June 21st, the first day of the summer, Angela and Katiuscia followed Katherine and Alexander’s wedding.
Katherine is American and Alexander is German. They choose Isola del Garda for their symbolic blessing and reception.
They wanted a country themed wedding with meadow flowers, lemons and lavender.
All country arrangements were followed by Vincenzo Dascanio and photos are by Morlotti Studio – Venice.
On the same day Stefania followed another wonderful wedding in Rome.
Hynde and Philip got married in a wonderful villa overlooking Rome skyline.
A romantic symbolic ceremony in the garden of the villa just above Rome. Ceremony was held by family member and friends and it was really touching!
For their reception to follow they chose cream and blue colours perfectly matching Rome blue sky!

La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team followed for us a lovely Italian wedding: Ilenia and Marco’s .
They celebrated their romantic ceremony in the church of Madonnina in Arola above the hills of Lake Orta overlooking St. Julius Island.
Madonnina church is not very famous but it is a real pearl still to be discovered. Ilenia wanted a colourful bouquet, a real color explosion created by Monika – Piccola Selva Floral designer.
Iulian and Lenka wanted a symbolic ceremony in the courtyard of the Castle with reception to follow overlooking a stunning view over the sea. Deep purple and red made the rest. A great night on the sea not far from Rome

On the same day Angela and Katiuscia followed Theresa and Mark’s wedding, a wonderful Irish wedding on Lake Garda.
They opted for a Catholic ceremony in Albisano town.
Theresa wanted a dusk pink themed wedding. Katiuscia and Angela’s couple chose a country chic five stars Relais with a lovely vineyard few steps from the shores.
A wonderful fine event for a very special couple!

Jacqueline and Florian got married in a wonderful meadow side of Monferrato vines with a touching Jewish ceremony.
An outdoor aperitif cheered by official Asti flag throwers and reception to follow under a romantic wisteria pergola. Dances to follow and a great party did the rest.

On 27th of June La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team followed two events.
The first one on Lake Maggiore: Shelly and Joep’s wedding. A lovely Dutch couple who choose the garden of Residence Ortensia in Baveno for their ceremony and reception.
A special thanks to Sjored Banga for the lovely picture of Shelly’s bouquet here below.
The second event La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team followed was: Elena and Alberto’s wedding. Another wonderful bridal bouquet created by Monika floral designer. It was all made with salmon shaded flowers and little buds of Bouvardia. Elena and Alberto got married at Villa Bossi with a civil ceremony and they planned their reception at Villa Crespi.
At the same time Alessandra and Veronica’s Team followed David and Gemma’s wedding. A really unconventional couple! They choose Villa del Balbianello for their ceremony and a restaurant in Cernobbio for their reception.
Bride wore a white dress with black details, very original for sure. Bridesmaid all wore black dresses while flowers where all white.
Very unusual but really fun!

On June 28th we reached Elia our planner for Umbria and Tuscany for Marie and Travis’ wedding.
They chose a private church for their Catholic ceremoy and a lovely farmhouse close to Cortona overlooking Lake Trasimeno.
Lake Trasimeno is one of the lovely lakes we suggest on our pages. It could be a wonderful option if you like lakes and traditional country settings.
A wonderful aperitif with cutting of the cake just outside the church as per Danish tradition! Reception was planned totally outdoor overlooking stunning Lake Trasimeno and its castle.

La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team followed two other events on this special day.
Tatiana and Pierangelo’s wedding on Lake Orta with great shots by Enrico Mocci and Nancy and Alessio’s wedding again on Lake Orta with a lovely civil ceremony at Villa Bossi.
Have a look to Nancy’s romantic bouquet. Another wonderful creating by Monika floral designer. Apricot color is one of the new trend for next years!
On 30th Stefania followed Isidoro and Stefania’s wedding a wonderful Italian couple that she will keep in her heart for a long time. Stefania was expecting a baby and this made the day even more special!
Civil ceremony was planned inside Santa Marinella Castle overlooking Thyrrenian sea.
Castle of Santa Marinella give the possibility to bride and groom to celebrate their legal civil ceremony in the grounds of the property whouth transfers for guests your day could be very easy and relaxed.
Stefania and Isidoro had a country chic wedding in the shades of pink, light blue and orange.

On the same day Alessandra and Veronica’s Team followed Alyson and Charles’ wedding on Lake Como.
A lovely Australian couple who chose a civil ceremony at Villa del Balbianello with a lovely tour on a luxury motorboat and a fine lunch under the wonderful loggia of the villa.
A pink themed wedding with peonies, hydrangeas, and dalias from pale pink to deep pink and fuchsia. A stunning venue for a wonderful day on Lake Como.
