First of all in these days we are celebrating the 7th anniversary of our web site! It seems just yesterday we put on line the very first version of our site. From that time a lot happened many couples and professionals chose us and supported us. We would love to thank you all for being with us for these years and we hope you will keep on be on our pages for long time!
With this post we also introduce a new feature for Just Married posts: a brand new PHOTO GALLERY where you could see all photos of our just married couples!
This will make our Just Married posts a shorted and easier to read but it will give you the great chance to enjoy wonderful photos of our weddings all over Italian country. Yes! Not only Lakes but you will also se wonderful weddings planned in Piemonte Countryside – Langhe and Monferrato, Tuscany, Umbria, Rome and even amazing Southern Apulia.

An now let us introduce our just married couples for this lovely July 2014!
On July 4th we start with Maike and Vinod who chose Lake Garda for their destination wedding. They both come from Amsterdam and she is a beautiful model.
Angela and Katiuscia followed the event for us.
They opted for a Catholic ceremony in Salò in a church up the hills with magic view. After the ceremony a horse carriage took them to Gardone Riviera for their lunch reception. So romantic! They also planned an evening reception to Torre San Marco just by the shores.
Maike chose a total white theme and a Kate Middleton style bouquet with white dendrobium and Bouvardia to substitute lilies on the valley that are not seasonal in July.

They both came from Scotland to celebrate their union.
Valentina followed the event for us.
Bride arrived by motorboat to Villa Bossi, civil ceremony was held inside the charming room of the villa.
A boat tour for the guests to follow and a lovely reception to Hotel San Rocco just by Lake Orta shores.
Alieen was simply beautiful in her laces dress and her sea holly themed bouquet matched the romantic style she wanted for her wedding.

We start with Angela and Katiuscia who followed Sophie and Andrew’s wedding.
They chose a Catholic ceremony in Sirmione in one of the most beautiful churches on Lake Garda with a lovely portico on the shores.
After the ceremony a boat tour took the guests around Sirmione peninsula up to the reception venue.
For their reception venue Sophie and Andrew chose a wonderful villa on the shores with a romantic outdoor dinner in its courtyard. To make the event even more Italian they wanted a traditional Italian band with guitar, mandolin and accordion. They danced all night!!
Sophie chose ivory peonies and dusty pink roses for her bridal bouquet and all arrangement, a wonderful choice for a romantic wedding!

In the meanwhile our lovely Lake Como Team followed Giovanna and Daniel’s wedding on Lake Iseo.
They are both from New York but with Italian heritage.
After a Catholic ceremony they chose a private villa on Lake Iseo shores for their reception.
A wonderful outdoor meal for more than 130 guests with fireworks and dances up to 2am!
A white and pink theme for the ceremony but a multicolour one for the reception! Lanterns with flowers inside were a lovely touch and for table chart and place cards Giovanna used little butterflies to make the atmosphere really happy and joyful!

We move in Cortona, Umbria where Elia followed David and Vivienne’s wedding .
Another Catholic ceremony, this time in Cortona abbey.
For their reception Vivienne and David chose a wonderful country villa in Cortona with an amazing park were welcome aperitif was set.
For the seated meal they all moved inside the panoramic room of the villa.
A long party after dinner up to late at night with dj set and some Scottish dances.
Party was planned by the pool overlooking wonderful Umbria and Tuscany countryside.

On the same day Elia’s Team followed another wedding: Chris and Mari’s.This wedding is also featured on Italian Country Wedding web site
A symbolic ceremony for them with reception to villa in a wonderful country venue in Cortona.
A wonderful garden wedding in a traditional Tuscan mansion turned into a luxury resort with SPA.
After the ceremony accompanied by a string quartet and a tenor singer bride and groom wanted some country shots in Tuscany countryside.
Elegant reception by the pool wanted for that after the shooting.
After the meal a fun rock band played for them to let guests enjoy a wonderful Tuscan evening.

A week later we move back to Lake Garda with Angela and Katiuscia.
On July 10th Kathy and Martii from Estonia got married in Malcesine. A romantic civil ceremony at Malcesine castle.
A lovely romantic meal to follow in a Michelin starred restaurant in the heart of Malcesine village.

They both came from Australia to celebrate their wedding in wonderful Southern region of Apulia (Puglia). They never been to Apulia before but they trusted Michela and Michela guidance for their intimate wedding in this lovely undiscovered region of Southern Italy.
They choose a symbolic blessing in a lovely deconsecrated Baroque church in Lecce historical centre, accompanied by sweet sound of harp and violin.
For their reception they reached a Castle in Salento Countryside. The castle is famous for its vineyard and wine production .
A lovely aperitif by the pool and an elegant reception inside the charming rooms of the castle.
A long table for all 25 guests decorated with blue regency, amaranth and purple details.

On July 11th Valentina followed Ashleigh and Chris’ wedding on Lake Orta.
Ashleigh and Chris are both Scottish and they came to Orta with close family and friends to celebrate their special day.
A wonderful warm and sunny day blessed the couple.
Civil ceremony was held outdoor at Villa Bossi and as tradition wants bride arrived by rowing boat.
A bag piper was waiting for her playing traditional Scottish music that made the atmosphere magic on Lake Orta.
After the ceremony a nice aperitif at Hotel San Rocco and then a boat tour to reach Ustaria Ca dal Rat for the evening reception.
Ashleigh wanted white flowers and hessian details. Jars with flowers, candles, hanging lanterns and hessian bunting set the mood to Ustaria Ca dal Rat for a delicious dinner and a great party to follow.

This is a date to remember!
They had the privilege to work inside wonderful Abby on St. Julius Island!
Because of a Bishop law only natives of St Julius Island can celebrate their marriage here. And if you consider how small the Island here you can see how rare is the opportunity to celebrate a marriage inside the abbey.
La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team had the opportunity to work for Jodie and Matteo’s wedding creating wonderful floral arrangement for the church.

They both came from UK. A lovely civil ceremony on the terrace of Malcesine Castle and a romantic dinner to follow on a cute beach on the Lake just in Malcesine village. This is located just under Castle tower. What a view!

Colin and Jenny got married with a civil ceremony in Cortona. For their reception they choose the same venue Chris and Mari choose some days before.

On July 18th Valentina followed another event on Lake Orta: Susannah and Barry’s wedding.
Susannah and Barry opted for an outdoor civil ceremony at Villa Bossi.
Susannah arrived by rowing boat on a wonderful sunny day.
After a the ceremony guests and bridegroom had a lovely aperitif in the village and a fun ice cream in the main square. While the guests were reaching Ustaria Ca dal Rat for the reception bride and groom went to St. Julius Island for great wedding photos.
A lovely yellow and lemon themed wedding with limoncello favours and fresh lemonade for the aperitif.
A great party with dj set and lot of fun closed the evening.

A Catholic ceremony for them at church of Maria Assunta in Orta village.
For their reception the chose Villa Ortea with a 50s Cinema Divas theme.

On July 20th Lake Como Team followed Martina and Christian’s wedding. A lovely German couple who chose Lake Como for their intimate wedding in Italy.
They had their civil ceremony at Villa del Balbianello with a reception to follow in a luxury hotel in Tremezzo.
A very intimate reception for ten guests in a private room of the hotel with white followers and cute names cards with little vases and a flowers inside. What a nice idea!

A wonderful American couple.
They literally elope to Lake Como for their wedding for two.
A romantic ceremony at Villa del Balbianello with a romantic aperitif to follow on a boat.
For the cutting of their cake they chose amazing Villa d’Este in Cernobbio with pictures to follow in the garden of the villa.
For her bouquet Melissa chose scented white roses, calls and gardenias.
What about their celebratory meal? They booked a night cruise on the lake with dinner on board. Isn’t it so romantic?

A simple and fun wedding for this lovely British couple.
They both come from UK but live in Milan, very close to Lake Orta.
Lauren arrived by boat to Villa Bossi for a romantic civil ceremony… keeping in mind Italian tradition they wanted a traditional rice throwing at the end of the ceremony.
After a lovely boat tour and some pictures on the Island they all reached Ustaria Ca dal Rat for a simple but fun reception. A great pop rock band played for them to make their night unforgettable.

Once again bride arrived to the town hall of Villa Bossi by boat, she was stunning in her dress with pearls and crystal details on the back.
After the ceremony a romantic aperitif at Hotel San Rocco and some pictures on St. Julius Island, they all reached once again Ustaria Ca dal Rat.
A swing band was waiting for them to accompany their aperitif and dances to follow.
For their decorations Jessica chose hessian details and white flowers in jars, some were also hanged on the rustic ceiling of Ustaria Ca dal Rat marquee.
Paper mache favours and stationary were all made by the bride… she definitely has style!

Davide and Maria Elisa chose a Catholic ceremony in church of Palo Laziale.
For their reception they chose Santa Marinella Castle overlooking wonderful Thyrrenian sea.
A white and pink simple and chic theme for Maria Elisa and lot of children at the reception made the event very special.

On the same day Valentina followed an intimate event in Piemonte Countryside in Langhe.
Heather and Philip are both American and they chose Barolo village for their special day.
Barolo is the village where Barolo precious wine come from. They village is a real pearl over Langhe vine hills.
Heather and Philip got married with a civil ceremony inside Barolo Castle in the very centre of the village. A very intimate event with only few members of the family and friends.
Some pictures to follow, along the village roads and a toast with wedding cake cut in a local winery.
For their celebratory meal they opted to join Barolo Nigth in La Morra a local festival where you can eat and drink Piemonte tradition dishes and wines.

On July 27th Stefania followed Michele and Hil’s wedding in Rome.This wedding is also featured on Italian Country Wedding web site
An amazing and truly elegant in the eternal city.
They had their Catholic ceremony in the stunning church of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Rome.
This is one of the most beautiful and amazing churches in Rome. It was built in side ancient Roman Thermal of Diocleziano. In 1562 Michelangelo worked inside the church a he did the project to turn the ancient ruins of Thermae of Diocleziano into a church that is a real piece of art.
Michele is Italian and Hil is Chinese. For this reason she wanted white red and golden arrangements for both church and reception.
After the ceremony the party moved to a stunning villa overlooking a breathtaking panorama over Rome.
A fine elegant dinner and a reception to follow with a great 70s/80s band up to late at night.

We close a great month back to Lake Orta for an Intimate wedding. Valentina followed the event for us.
Paige and Darren got married with a Catholic ceremony in church of Santa Maria Assunta.
For her bouquet and decoration in the church Paige wanted white and purple.
After a refreshing aperitif in Orta village their reached Ustaria Ca dal Rat for a simple Italian dinner by the shores.
