Suddenly the bridal march bursts forth in bell-like sonority, where guests may have expected the conventional drone of the organ, and all rise with eyes upon you as you approach the bridegroom, in happy greeting. For the reception and even the dinner, the same musicians change the mood to easy listening favorites, up-beat contemporary, or familiar classics, as desired, as you host the most important celebration of your life.

The repertory list of the Joy Ensemble Harp & Violin Duo includes hundreds of standards, and ethnic and classical favorites, from pop to classics. Your own choices from outside the list can generally be accommodated, with early enough notice.
Typically, Joy Ensemble provides the following music for a wedding:

• Prelude - before the ceremony while guests are being seated.
• Processionals - music played for the attendants and the bride while they walk up the aisle.
• Ceremony - any special music during the service.
• Recessional - a triumphant tune for the exit of the bride and groom and attendants.
• Post-Ceremony - while your guests are leaving after the service.

The sound of the violin is perfectly complimented by the harp’s accompaniment. This duo is certain to please at any time. Joy Ensemble can play all of the standard wedding ceremony repertoire, and can also provide a lovely backdrop to your cocktail hour or dinner.

The Joy Ensemble Violin & Cello Duo is excellent for events where a compact ensemble is needed or where the event demands a more delicate sound.
The duo performs a wide range of baroque, classical and romantic literature, wedding standards, operatic medleys and popular classical melodies.
The standard duo is violin/cello, but other duos include two violins, violin/viola, flute/violin or violin/soprano.
